I created “Beyond the Barrel” after being asked to create a column where I could review products that weren’t quite right for the then already existing columns at The Tasting Panel Magazine. In “Beyond the Barrel” I reviewed everything from zany concepts to brilliant innovations and do so with the cognizance that everything has a market.
